  1. Edit novel!!!!
  2. Submit my work to at least 10 places (journals, magazines, publishers, etc)
  3. Get my work published somewhere...ANYwhere!!
  4. Knit a sweater of my own design
  5. Knit a sweater from a Japanese pattern
  6. Learn and master 4 couture sewing "techniques"
  7. Buy thrift, handmade, or independent before resorting to large chain stores
  8. Make heavy use of dressform
  9. Do something creative every day
  10. Write at least one original sentence (or a line for a poem) everyday
  11. School--don't procrastinate! Start big assignments at least two weeks or more before they are due.
  12. Weekly yoga
  13. Get excited about life
  14. Do Asuka (Evangelion) cosplay
  15. Do Miwako Sakurada (Paradise Kiss) cosplay
  16. Do Rina (Luminous Arc 2) cosplay
  17. Do Lucy (Elfen Lied) cosplay
  18. Tailor a suit for Max
  19. Read the Bible (which means finding an accurate translation)
  20. Read 100 books (fiction or non fiction, but not course textbooks)
  21. Learn to weave
  22. Spin a sweater's worth of yarn
  23. Go to Rhinebeck
  24. Knit for charity
  25. Redesign blog
  26. Start a website to market my writing
  27. Get a really nice camera
  28. Edit our wedding photos (a friend took them for us for free...so the editing became our job)
  29. Put together a wedding album (we were married in 2007, lol)
  30. Have enormous prints made of really awesome photos I've taken in the past
  31. Frame above photos
  32. Hang above photos
  33. Obtain a fancy corner desk thing for the guest room
  34. Go camping
  35. Go to Wisconsin Dells
  36. Go to Mackinac Island (they don't allow cars! I think that's the greatest thing ever!)
  37. Remodel both bathrooms
  38. Enroll Matilda in obedience school (she's a good girl, but a bit of a nonconformist)
  39. Take a Russian language class
  40. Read School Rumble in Japanese (I have every volume already)

You sound so fun and quirky. I, too, am working on a book. Look for passages on the blog soon.

Ooooh, you are brave to post passages from your book online! I'm still in that "terrified of criticism" phase. I'm trying really hard to get over it, though. :)
