For Me Mum

I've been meaning to get a more sufficient start on this sweater in order to make a more enlightening WIP post, but for some reason, I allowed myself to forget all about this one.

It's a cute little t-shirt from Knit Simple that I am knitting for my mother. Buttery Yellow, upon her request. :) But check out that picot edging. Who can resist a picot edging? Anyway, it's pretty mindless knitting, which is most likely why I've been pushing it aside in favor of lacy goodness.

Ah, lacey goodness. Icarus is coming along slowly. :)

Also, I've run into some new fiber!

4 oz. Icelandic Roving:

4 0z. Hand-dyed Montadale Top:

and felting wool for needle felting:

I'm excited. As you can see, I've already started spinning up the Icelandic! :)

Oh yeah...and one more thing:

Awwwwwwwwwww........

Picot edging IS pretty irresistible. The second roving is absolutely gorgeous! Well, they all are, but that one particularly caught my eye. It somehow makes me think of Titania from A Midsummer Night's Dream. Can't wait to see how it spins up. Where'd you get it?
